75%; 68%; 86%; read review; more info Favreau has had an incredible 2019.
Factotum (2005) cast and crew credits, including actors, actresses, directors, writers and more. A derivative script and a rather tired performance from Carrey aside, it’s got disarming charm and cheek and Sonic is a cutely cartoonish hero. Thanks for checking out our Jon Favreau page. Cast: Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Lili Taylor; Horror from the director of Saw and Insidious about a family terrified by a malevolent force in their new home. The latter provides the hour-long climax to the film, and it's an awesome thing to behold. Very respectable! Therefore it would seem that Vince’s top-star days such as they were, are behind him.
My tally is at 38. Real life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Wilson (from the original Amityville case) are played by Wilson and Farmiga. Thanks for the return comment.HI BRUCE Thanks for the feedback. That being said…I think Vince Vaughn has a very good chance to become a solid supporting actor. I would recommend his Chef….that is a fun movie….he wrote and starred in that one….and got some high powered friends to appear in supporting roles.
Continuing where 'The Fellowship of the Ring' left off, without any recap of the story so far, 'The Two Towers' follows three separate plotlines: Frodo's trek to Modor to destroy the ring, his fellow Hobbits' meeting with the Ents (walking, talking trees) and the human/elf/dwarf combo Aragon, Legolas and Gimili's part in the siege of the human stronghold Helm's Deep by the evil wizard Sauraman's 10,000-strong army. Good feedback…copied these two comments to the Vince Vaughn page.Jon Fav -WHO?
He has appeared in two movies and directed one…the worldwide total for those 3 movies?…almost 6 billion…..and all three are still earning money. 'Elf n' safety 100 years ago: Historian discovers illustrated magazine which paved the way for today's laws. Robert Downey Jr must be eternally grateful, Favreau fought to cast him as Iron Man and now he’s one of the richest actors in the world.I have also found from my research that Wikipedia opines that Jon is best known for his overall “work with the Marvel Cinematic Universe” so it is unsurprising that I am not familiar with him personally, though it is not improbable that this site’s super/action-hero guru Steve could tell us what Jon had for supper last night!Hey Bob…..why use Wiki…when we have Steve and Flora for the classic stars. I agree with you 100%. Your namesake, the great Brit entertainer Bruce Forsyth, used to close his Strictly Come Dancing TV show with advice to the audience to “Keep dancing!” so my advice to Bruce Cogerson is “Keep teaching – and grossing!”I’ve seen 23 of the 41 films listed. Tally count…me 38, you 24 and Bob 6. I asked myself when I saw the name flagged up on this site, so once again I am indebted to Cogerson for encouraging me to educate myself about a movie figure who appears to be a bit of an “all- rounder” in terms of talent: if either the Cogerson or Lensman site profiles a personality unknown to me, I make it a rule to as soon as possible research the career of him/her.You will see from my comments that my two faves were not the action movies but (1) Nicholson’s Something’s Gotta Give – lovely “mush” with Jack in romantic mood for once (2) The Jolf of Wall Street – I always like Scorsese.Hey Dan.
But Frodo's meeting with the ring's previous owner, Gollum, also impresses – here's a fully computer animated character that generates as much emotion as any of the living performers.
Overlong but entertaining enough adaptation of fourth Potter book directed with by Brit Newell.Sonic (Schwartz) finds himself alone on Earth, on the run from the authorities, with villain Dr Robotnik (Carrey) also in pursuit. Good part in End Game (love his scene at the end with Iron Man’s daugther), fun comic relief part in Spidey 2 (part reminds me of Caine’s in The Dark Knight trilogy) and The Lion King (saw it this weekend…not too impressed).Hey Bob. My own fave Vaughn movie is 1998’s A Cool Dry Place, which holds nostalgic memories for me as I borrowed it for viewing from one of your Blockbuster video libraries during my visit to the State in 1999.Take care.
Your Vaughn page shows that between 2000 and 2009 he had 8 movies that crossed your magical $100 million prestige line for adjusted domestic grosses per movie, and those 8 had a total adjusted US gross of around $1.4 billion, an average of approx $175 per movie. I agree that his leading man days are probably behind him. I really enjoyed him in Fighting With My Famil, Hacksaw Ridge and Dragged Across Concrete.
