If I want to tip, I will give it to the driver myself, and if I don't want to, I won't. I've been seeing this too! In theory, a tip is supposed to reflect on the quality of service, and if you receive terrible service, then, yes, you may want to lower your initial tip amount. You leave out Gatorade it's goldA basket by the door full of snacks/water/Gatorade is a fantastic way to do it.
