I can shoot from many angles of view. Note that I did state that the X70 isn't better... just better at some things. The FUJIFILM X70 with its 18.5mm wide-angle lens is all you need to make your everyday shots dramatic. The AF system offers the standard 49-point Single Point mode for high speed and precision focusing, as well as the new Zone and Wide/Tracking modes that use a larger 77-point area to capture moving subjects.Fujifilm is helping make the world a better, healthier, and more interesting place. I like the mirrorlessconcept especially with the fixed lenses (RX1,Ricoh GR,Fuji 100S), but to get serious it's always a DSLR like D810 or 5DM3.
Instead of winning a battle of spec sheets, it focuses on delivering robust, high quality 4K video.
And size is important here. Logically the GR seems like the better choice but it is one of the most unexciting cameras I have seen. @GRicoh where can info on this be found? What’s the best camera costing over $2000? Really enjoyed it. The battery is rated for about 330 images, based on industry-standard CIPA guidelines.Fujifilm has squeezed a large number of physical controls into the X70's frame. There is certainly some blurriness to photos at ISO 12800, however, a sign of in-camera noise reduction. The X70 fit the bill and I could not be happier. The whole point of a review is to pick something apart :/I used to stick with optical view finder and refuse EVF, but after using EVF for a while, I love it. I'm not arguing, but the Fuji files could be pushed a lot further than the D7000 files. Sick. Without viewfinder? That's a boon for photographers who want to buy a second battery, as you've got everything you need to charge two batteries simultaneously included with the camera. In fact, they're almost the same size.I agree, a camera without a viewfinder, that makes no sense, as a professional I would not use a camera without a viewfinder. The x100 series hit the nail on that, IMHO.Pity these guys screwed up the GXR adventure: a proper MILC with Ricoh GR haptics could have been a real hit.Loss is an inevitable part of the experience of collecting, using and appreciating old analog cameras. Bulb and Timed exposures (up to 30 seconds) are available, and the shutter speed can be set to automatic operation if desired.I didn't find the X70 to be as comfortable to handle as the GR II. In this buying guide we’ve rounded up all the current interchangeable lens cameras costing over $2000 and recommended the best.I have and very happy. If you opt for JPG, it can keep that pace up for about 14 photos, and slows to a reasonable 5.2fps after that. The X70 with its Full Auto at a flick of a switch & Face Detection has solved that.I simply do not see why anyone would choose this over a Ricoh GR.The OP suggested a faster lens. if you like set manual focus to 5m and f/8 to f/8 and be there kinda style you never wait for the camera, you just fire away without the camera skipping a beat (provided your card can handle it).Pretty damn hard. Plus I tend to manual focus a lot, and the Ricoh is horrible in that regard.
